Skincare and Nutrition
Humans have skin covering their bodies entirely, thereby making it the largest organ. Not only does it provide protection, but it also houses sensory stimuli. In short, we could not live without it.
There are three layers to the skin, the epidermis, the dermis, and the subcutaneous. When discussing skin care or how to have beautiful and healthy skin, we are referring to the epidermis or outer layer.
Dos and Don’ts of Skin Care:

What Your Skin Needs:

- Minerals including zinc, selenium, and copper all provide protection for the skin.
- Water hydrates the skin from the inside out. Drink at least six to eight glasses daily.
- Topical care need not be expensive. Be sure to wash daily with a mild cleanser and use a moisturizer for your skin type.
